Henrikson Owen & Associates Retained by Baghdad-Based ALMCO for Oil and Gas Operations Base in Southern Iraq

Henrikson Owen & Associates (a division of the Owen Group of Companies) has been retained by Baghdad-based ALMCO to provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural engineering services for an oil and gas operations base in southern Iraq. This new base will provide facilities for hundreds of workers that provide services in oil fields being developed by a major international oil company. The complex includes 13 residential/accommodations buildings, a dining hall, food preparation facility, recreation/gymnasium, administrative offices, medical clinic, mosque, maintenance facilities, security facilities, guard towers, power plant, water treatment plant, and wastewater treatment plant.
Henrikson Owen & Associates has worked on four other projects with ALMCO. They include two fueling stations in Tallil and Numaniyah, Iraq; a new maintenance complex in Salman Pak, Iraq; an air traffic control tower in Taji, Iraq; and another oil and gas operations base near Basra, Iraq.
